Seychelles Immigrant Investor Program

Qualifying investors may apply for permanent residence after investing at least US$1 million in a new or expanding Seychelles business. Applicants must also meet the required business involvement, residence and immigration conditions. This is an active investment route rather than a passive Golden Visa. The route provides permanent residence rather than immediate citizenship. Investors primarily seeking a second passport may prefer the Grenada Citizenship by Investment program, which offers direct citizenship through a qualifying contribution from US$235,000 plus fees.

A route to citizenship becomes viable after a decade, marking 11 years of continuous living in the country through the investor programme.

Seychelles Citizenship by Investment

Seychelles does not offer citizenship by investment. General naturalisation normally requires an aggregate of 15 years of residence, together with a citizenship examination and other eligibility requirements. Business investment and permanent residence do not guarantee citizenship. Investors seeking direct citizenship may instead consider the newer São Tomé and Príncipe Citizenship by Investment program or compare established Caribbean Citizenship by Investment programs.
