YEMEN CITIZENSHIP

Yemen lacks any residency or citizenship-by-investment programme. The nation is subject to stringent international sanctions which have severely restricted investment, and trade. The socio-political environment is highly regulated, with little transparency or predictability, presenting substantial operational and legal risks.

Yemenis are barred from participating in most citizenship investment programmes abroad, and travel for Yemeni nationals is significantly restricted. Apart from the difficulties associated with leaving the country, the Yemeni passport itself affords minimal visa-free travel opportunities. It grants visa-free access to 46 countries globally, constituting just 2.0% of global wealth.
