RWANDA CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT
The Rwandan citizenship by investment programme offers high-net-worth investors the opportunity to obtain citizenship in exchange for a minimum investment of $100,000 USD in the country’s economy. The investment can take various forms, including real estate, business development, or government bonds. Rwanda’s citizenship by investment programme is relatively new, for potential investors who are looking for more established programmes the St Kitts CBI programme is worth considering. RWANDA RESIDENCY BY INVESTMENT
Unfortunately, Rwanda doesn’t have a formal residency by investment programme and foreign investors will need to consider alternative options elsewhere. As such, it ranks a disappointing 154th in La Vida’s Global Passport Ranking. The strength of Rwanda’s passport is not a feature of its programme. Investors should compare any benefits to CBI programmes in other countries with strong passports and good visa-free travel links. Such as Grenada and Dominica.
