Individuals interested in obtaining residency through investment in Iran can achieve a five-year residence permit by investing $90,000 in the country. Those holding a residence permit obtained through investment are entitled to live and engage in business activities within Iran.
Iran is positioned unfavourably on La Vida’s Global Passport Ranking, holding the 180th spot. This ranking implies limited global travel access for Iranian passport holders. An Iranian passport offers visa-free entry to a modest 22% of countries, accounting for only 11.2% of global travel destinations.
