Belarusian nationals should confirm eligibility with a licensed agent before shortlisting anything. Applicants holding funds and long-term residence outside Belarus are in a materially stronger position than those applying from within the country, and complete source of funds documentation carries more weight here than on most files.

Belarus Citizenship By Investment

Belarus does not offer a direct citizenship by investment program. Turkey’s Citizenship By Investment Program applies no nationality restriction to Belarusian applicants and grants a second passport in three to six months on real estate investment from $400,000 held for three years, covering a spouse and children under 18 on a single application.

Belarus Residency By Investment

Belarus does not offer a direct residency by investment program. Established routes exist nearby in Europe, including the Hungarian Golden Visa, which requires €250,000 in a real estate fund registered with the Hungarian National Bank and grants a ten-year residence permit with visa-free travel across the Schengen Area alongside access to education, work and healthcare.

Eligibility for the European programs should be confirmed before proceeding, as treatment of Belarusian applicants varies by member state.

Belarus Passport Strength And Ranking

Belarus ranks 114th of 199 on the La Vida Passport Value Index. The Belarusian passport reaches 88 of the world’s 227 destinations without a prior visa, representing 32.8% of world GDP and 25.6% of global travel measured by international visitor arrivals.

Belarusian nationals require advance visas for the United States, the United Kingdom, the Schengen Area, China and Japan. Those five destinations account for most of the gap between a Belarusian passport and an investment-grade one.

Turkish citizenship takes destination count from 88 to 140 and travel reach from 25.6% to 41.4%, though its economic reach of 26.0% sits below what a Belarusian passport already delivers. The larger gains sit with the Caribbean programs where eligibility allows, with Grenada at 63rd on the Index reaching 179 destinations, 59.6% of world GDP and 79.4% of global travel.
