Namibia Investor Residency Visa Proposed

The Namibian government is preparing to launch a residency investor programme aimed at attracting wealthy Europeans looking to retire to the country.

Details of the investment amount and likely tax benefits of such a programme are yet to emerge but the Namibian cabinet has already approved the move. Namibia located on the Atlantic coastline of southern Africa shares a border with South Africa, Zambia, Angola and Botswana and with a population of 2.6 million people is one of the least densely populated countries in the world. Namibia ranks as one of the safest and most stable countries in Africa.
