La Vida Feature in Forbes Africa

La Vida is featured in Forbes Africa online with an article examining the benefits of second citizenship in Grenada and the rise in demand from wealthy African applicants. Based on data generated from La Vida’s unique passport value report, we discuss the restrictions many Africans face with their current passports and highlight the value that a second passport can bring, increasing business, travel and education opportunities. Using the Nigerian passport as a case study, we demonstrate how Nigerian citizens have visa-free access to just 54 destinations, holding one of the lowest ranked passports among their West African neighbours. That’s a modest 23.8% of the 227 countries and territories worldwide and gives them access to just 2.1% of the world’s wealth and GDP. A second passport in Grenada dramatically enhances global access and increase these figures substantially.
