Do I have to live in Grenada to become a citizen?
No. Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment program has no minimum stay requirement. Once you become a citizen of Grenada, you have the right to reside in the country for as long or little as you choose.
How much does it cost to become a Grenada citizen?

A number of documents are required to apply for citizenship through investment in Grenada. The list may vary depending on your personal circumstances. How long does it take to get Citizenship through investment in Grenada?

What family members can I include in my Grenada citizenship by investment application?
The main applicant can include the following family members:
- Spouse
- Dependent Children up to the age of 30 years old who are fully supported by the main applicant
- Dependent Children of any age who are physically or mentally challenged and fully supported by the main applicant
- Dependent Parents of the main applicant or spouse who are above 55 years of age and fully supported by the main applicant
- Siblings of the main applicant/spouse above 18 years of age. Must be unmarried, childless.
Do I have to pay tax in Grenada?
You are not required to pay any income tax on your worldwide income in Grenada or capital gains tax. You are only required to pay tax on any income derived in Grenada.
Does Grenada allow dual Citizenship?
Grenada allow dual citizenship with all countries. It is worth checking with your current country if they also permit dual citizenship.
How many countries will a Grenada Passport give me visa-free access to?

How long is a Grenada passport valid for?
Once you have been granted citizenship in Grenada, this is for life. However, your Grenada passport has a validity period of five years. All applicants will be required to renew their passports every five years. The renewal fees are minimal, currently under $100 per person.
Do I need to travel to Grenada to process my Citizenship application?
There is no requirement to visit Grenada to process your Citizenship by Investment application. The entire process can be completed remotely through La Vida. Once you are granted Grenadian Citizenship, there is also no minimum stay requirement.
Can I apply for Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment program if I have a health condition?
All applicants are required to undergo and provide evidence of a full medical check, certified by a registered doctor as part of the application process for Grenada This includes supplying a HIV test and full blood count and completing the official medical form. Even if the medical report states the applicant has an existing health condition, it is still possible to apply in most cases. Do I need to pass a language test for Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment?
No. Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment program does not require any applicants to undergo a language test.
Can unmarried or same sex couples apply for Grenada’s Citizenship Program?
Applicants must be legally married if wanting to apply together under one family application. Unfortunately, same-sex marriage is not yet legally recognised in Grenada or the other Caribbean nations offering CBI programs. In this circumstance, the best solution is for the two individuals to apply as single applicants separately.
Alternatively, if you wish to apply with your partner, then you could consider one of the European Golden Visa programs where same-sex marriage and unmarried couples are eligible to apply together.
Can I apply to the USA for an E2 Visa as a Grenada citizen
The E-2 treaty ‘Investor Visa’ signed between Grenada and the United States allows citizens of Grenada to operate a substantial business in the U.S. and reside there through obtaining an E2 visa. However in December 2022 the AMIGOS act passed the US Senate and once approved by Congress and the US president this would restrict E2 access to citizens domiciled for a minimum of three years from the country of application.
Will I qualify for the Grenada Citizenship by Investment program?
Other than making the required investment applicants will need to pass the Grenada government Due Diligence and Anti Money Laundering requirements. The DD and AML tests are extensive and fees are payable on application.
