Canada Ends Investor Visa Programme

The Canadian government recently stopped its immigrant investor visa programme returning a staggering 40,000 applications mainly to mainland Chinese applicants. The programme required investment of at least $800,000 yet its popularity was immense. The european programmes have seen a rise in interest following this decision with Portugal in particlar appearing to be most attractive to the Chinese market.
