Armenia, positioned between Europe and Asia, is renowned for its rich history, welcoming culture, and dynamic growth. The economy continues to expand, supported by a competitive tax system, pro-business reforms, and modernising infrastructure. For investors seeking access to both European and Eurasian markets, Armenia presents an attractive and accessible opportunity.
This program gives investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners a direct route to permanent residency without the hurdles found in many other jurisdictions. There is no physical presence requirement and no specified minimum investment, making it one of the most flexible options available.
Applications can be completed entirely from abroad, with approvals typically granted in around three months. Residence permits are valid for five years and can be renewed indefinitely. The program extends to immediate and extended family members, offering a secure and long-term base in a strategically important location.

To qualify, applicants must be engaged in business activities in Armenia. This may include:
Active ownership: Establishing and operating your own business or holding a majority stake in an Armenian company
Passive ownership: Holding a minority share in an existing Armenian business
There is no official minimum investment requirement, and documentation is minimal.
Armenia does not operate a direct Citizenship by Investment program. However, permanent residents may apply for citizenship by naturalisation after only three years. Though to qualify, applicants must successfully complete a civics test held in the Armenian language.
Armenia permits dual and multiple citizenship, allowing investors to retain their existing nationality while enjoying the benefits of Armenian citizenship. Applicants should confirm their home country’s policies on dual nationality before applying.
